“FOR THE TRUCKERS”: Renewed Push For National Concealed Carry Reciprocity

“FOR THE TRUCKERS,” America First Projects is renewing it’s push for National Concealed Carry Reciprocity as violence against motorists by rioters and looters is dominating headlines across the country. Organizers have set up a Rally Congress to connect supporters with their Congressman, Senators, and President Trump in support of bills H.R. 38 and S.69

The letter reads in part: “With escalating violence against motorists across the country, it’s more important than ever to give our truck drivers, travelers, and other Americans the right to keep and bear arms. Even when they travel.”

“Asking truckers and travelers to comply with the complex web of jurisdictions across the country is an unreasonable burden on their second amendment rights,” America First Project’s Jennifer Lawrence said. “We don’t have to give up our rights just because we decide to travel within the United States.”

The Rally Congress letter specifically supports H.R. 38 as introduced by Representative Burr (R, NC) and S. 69 as introduced by Senator Cornyn (R-TX). The House Bill has 160 co-sponsors and the Senate Bill has 38 co-sponsors.
