Protests to reopen the country and get America back to work erupted around the country today. Organized by Amy Kremer and the Women for America First, MAGA MAYDAY drew massive crowds across the country. With more rallies scheduled tomorrow organizers hope that this is just the beginning of the pushback to what they see as unconstitutional overreaches in response to the Wuhan Coronavirus.
“The American people aren’t going to standby while a bunch of Democrat governors try to wreck President Trump’s booming economy in an election year,” Kremer told America First Projects. “The Bill of Rights doesn’t have a virus exception and the American people are making it clear that we will fight to preserve our God-given rights.”
California was home to some of the biggest events with thousands turning out in different cities to protest Governor Gavin Newsom’s authoritarian extension of the statewide lockdown. Massive rallies in Sacramento and Huntington Beach provided some of the best pictures and videos.
America First Projects chatted with Joe Wierzbicki whose Conservative Campaign Committee helped put together the massive rally at the State Capitol in Sacramento.
“Here’s the amazing thing,” Wierzbicki said. “We focused our event today as vehicular demonstration & we got thousands of cars circling the Capitol honking as planned. But the we had this big ole crowd ALSO on the West Steps of the Capitol all fired up. #win-win !”
This is live-shot from California State Capitol in Sacramento. Besides these protesters there are *THOUSANDS* of vehicles packed across downtown Sacramento for the massive "Re-Open California" demonstration.
“Californians must return to work,” Vivienne Reign a Medical Business Owner said. “We must restore our constitutional rights, and we will fight for those rights despite Gavin Newsom’s shameful effort to silence is. We will not be quiet while he hurts our families here in California, and we will continue to speak out until the lockdown comes to an end.”

Re-Open California #EndTheLockdown joined together with some 20-thousand angry Californians to demand that Governor…
To the media’s great dismay the MAGA MAYDAY protesters came across as Happy Warriors and largely avoided giving the Fake News the ammo they needed to portray everyone as unhinged lunatics.
