Late Friday President Trump tweeted out his love for Goya Foods after the CEO Robert Unanue and the company has come under tremendous fire and calls for their boycott have reverberated throughout the internet Unanue’s public support of President Trump.
#GoyaBoycott even trending on Twitter when President Trump threw some fuel on the fire.
I LOVE @GoyaFoods!

Early Friday the CEO of Goya Foods, a popular Hispanic food company based in New Jersey, doubled down in an interview on Fox Business’ show Varney & Company. According to Fox Business Unanue stated, “We choose to love and to build and that’s what we’ve been doing, looking for prosperity.” Uanaue went on to say in the interview, “We’re with the president. We’re with this country — right, left, center, up and down.”
Friday Senator Ted Cruz also tweeted his support and love for Goya Foods. In the tweet he also attacks the left’s cancel culture that seems to be an ever growing problem in the United States.
Goya is a staple of Cuban food. My grandparents ate Goya black beans twice a day for nearly 90 years. And now the Left is trying to cancel Hispanic culture and silence free speech. #BuyGoya https://t.co/Mhb7inVKWl

The original fire storm began when Uanaue, who was invited to speak at the White House during the Press conference for Trump’s Hispanic Prosperity Initiative took the podium Thursday began to openly praise President Trump.

Uanaue said during the press conference “We’re all truly blessed at the same time to have a leader like President Trump, who is a builder,”. Uanaue went on to say, “That’s what my grandfather did, he came to this country to build, to grow to prosper. And so we have an incredible builder and we pray for our leadership, our president, and our country that we will continue to prosper and to grow.”.
Following Uanaue’s remarks Thursday at the White House, the left’s cancel culture and even some high ranking ultra left government officials have come out calling for the boycott of Goya Foods. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Julián Castro were some of those who have used their platforms to attack Goya.
GOP boycotting Nike over Kaepernick = “free speech”
Dems boycott anything= “suppression”
I know consistency isn’t your thing, but pick a lane. Trump targeted Latinos on Day 1. Caged our kids. And you defend it.
Your habichuelas probably taste like your politics anyway: 0 sazón https://t.co/h21ZREFMTH

.@GoyaFoods has been a staple of so many Latino households for generations.
Now their CEO, Bob Unanue, is praising a president who villainizes and maliciously attacks Latinos for political gain. Americans should think twice before buying their products. #Goyaway https://t.co/lZDQlK6TcU
