Long time advisor and friend of President Trump, Roger Stone, had his sentence commuted by the President late Friday. Stone has adamently denied the charges that he was eventually convicted of as part of Robert Mueller’s Russia hoax.
Laura Loomer a leading 2020 Congressional candidate in Florida and long time friend of Roger Stone, broke the news on Parler Friday night.
Stone was convicted in November 2019 for lying to the House of Representatives Intelligence Committee about actions he took in regard to Wikileaks and the Clinton emails during the 2016 election. In November Stone was convicted of seven criminal charges and was facing three and a half years and additional four months in federal prison in Jesup Georgia according to Reuters.
The pardon comes just days after Facebook took down Stone’s network on Social Media as America First Projects previously reported.
